I have been using Celexa for years. I have been using it for about 2 years now and have had no problems. I have taken it daily for the past 2 years but I have had no side effects. I am so pleased with my experience and my satisfaction. I have been using this medication for the last several years, and the side effects have been manageable, but I can't tolerate it. I am on a maintenance dose of 50mg and I have felt a slight improvement. I am a very happy man. I hope this helps. I would like to know if there is a specific dosage that I am not taking.
I was taking this in the middle of the week and my husband had to take another one at the 2nd time, but I was fine. I thought I was on 40mg and I was just getting back into a routine to try and control my symptoms. I was taking 40 mg per day, but I felt really tired and was having to adjust to 2 pills in the morning. I did see a doctor for some counseling and he told me to take the 40 mg pill before I could take the other one. I was concerned for him. He also wanted me to try the 50mg, but he said I would have to take a different dose.14
